Not electricuting ourselves today

A few days ago, I turned on the ceiling fan in our bedroom and after about an hour or so one of the blades fell off -- or rather it flew off. The way it broke off made it difficult to just replace the blade so we decided to replace the whole fan. Christy had been wanting to do that for a while. We bought a fan at Home Depot last night and installed it today. In concept, it's not that hard to install a ceiling fan -- just make sure that the power is off to the room and find someone whose arms won't get too tired after holding it up for a while. Also, try not to drop screws into the fan after you've connected the fan's wires to the house's wires while said helper is still holding onto the fan. In the end we got it up there and it hasn't fallen down yet, so I think we can call it a success.
