Stuck in the Airport

My flight from Charlotte to Hartford was canceled this morning due to mechanical issues. As far as cancellations go, mechanical issues/failure is probably one of the best reasons. The canceled flight meant I had an unexpected morning off of work. My boss was not thrilled but I appreciated having a few extra hours to myself. One perk of the Charlotte airport is the supply of rocking chairs. I was lucky enough to find an empty one for a couple hours. It was perfect for reading my magazine and yes even a little knitting. It's nice to be able to enjoy the simple pleasures in life sometimes; even if they come unexpectedly in the middle of an airport on a Monday morning.
