Today was my grandfather Eddie's 80th birthday. The few of us who live out of town made our way to Wilmington to celebrate the occasion with the rest of the Swart family. Thanks Grandma Betty for putting the party together and for the good southern food.
Mission Accomplished!
Unfortunately Tim and Derek could not make the trip this time so don't look for them in the group photo.
My Brother Chris is also missing from the group photo. I guess he had a more exciting party to attend and and took off before the picture was taken. Here is a picture of Chris with nephew Ethan just so you know what he looks like.
One more photo just because it is so cute! This is my second cousin Kayleigh showing the sign for a touchdown. The boys were watching a football game of course. By the Swart family has dutch roots. Seems Kayleigh found a pair of wooden shoes in her great-grandparents house that fit just right.
