We live in a friendly melting pot neighborhood. Our neighbors are really great and people wave as they walk down the street with their dog or their kids. Our neighbor across the street spends endless hours each day outside tending her garden. Her tomatoes are huge! She stopped me a couple of days ago and offered me some of the fruits or her labor. The only problem is that I have no idea what it is or what she called it(strong Eastern European accent). She suggested that it would be good in stew or with pot roast but that is about all of the information I garnished from the conversation. Anybody have any guesses?
