The Throne

As mentioned in the previous post, we had a house full of visitors for the 4th of July. Most things went smoothly but I guess the added use was just too much for the most popular seat in the house. The very last day of company the something on the toilet broke. I am not sure what it was but since this thing was original to the lovely yellow bathroom circa 1950; I am sure it was past time to retire it. To add insult to injury our main sewer line called it quits too. Our company was understanding and rolled with the punches of this old house. We got the sewer line issue resolved the next day. We decided it was time to retire the toilet. Tim flexed his handyman muscles and installed the new white throne. I know what you are thinking...it doesn't match the vintage yellow bathroom. Don't worry a gleaming white bathroom redo is high on our wish list. A girl can dream. I don't really know why I thought a toilet was worthy of a blog post but kudos to my handy hubby on his hard work around the house.
