Presents

Tim, Butter, and I had a great Christmas together in our little Connecticut house. We are loving all of our presents from our families and the love and thoughtfulness sent with them. Just in case you were wondering, yes Butter had wrapped Christmas presents under the tree. She even has her own wish list on Amazon. This is the kind of thing that happens when you are a happily married couple with no children and one spoiled 12 pound chihuahua.

Santa did make a pit stop in our neck of the woods and left a few little goodies in our stockings. My favorite gift of this holiday season was hiding in the bottom of my stocking and almost overlooked. It was a page of lovely coupons from my Timmy. Below is a sampling of some of the coupons I received this Christmas (notice they all have expiration dates listed):

  1. Redeemable for one FREE hug -expires 12/31/2010

  2. Buy one hug a regular price get a second hug of equal or lesser value FREE. Coupon not valid when combined with other offers- expires 12/31/2010

  3. Tim will watch any movie with you without complaining-expires 2/28/2010

  4. five more coupons like the previous with expiration dates of 4/30/2010, 6/30/2010, 8/30/2010, 10/31/2010, and 12/31/2010

  5. Tim will do any chore of your choice without complaining-expires 12/31/2010

  6. Valid for going to dinner at any restaurant of your choice as long as it is reasonable priced-expires 12/31/2010

  7. Valid for one FREE foot massage- expires 12/31/2010

  8. Valid for one FREE Shoulder massage- expires 12/31/2010

  9. Tim will go to the store and buy Christy chocolate of her choice regardless of what time it is. Offer not valid for times when Tim needs to be at work- expires 12/31/2010

  10. Christy gets to open one Christmas present before Christmas. EXPIRES 12/25/2009.

I intend to make good use of all of these coupons; except the last one of course. I am sure Tim is hoping I misplace this valuable piece of paper before the end of the year but it is safe and sound in a secret hiding place.
