5.5 months

We are a little late with Lily's 5 months photos. I don't keep up well with dates, days of the week, or even hours of the day anymore. My day is now broken down into segments like eating time, nap time, changing time, bath time, story time, and bed time. Maybe I should get my watch fixed. Enough about me. This is about Lily. We have had some exciting developments in the last few weeks like:
  1. This is the most exciting to me at the moment for obvious reasons...sleeping through the night! This child is a champion sleeper most every night from 8:30pm to 6:30am.
  2. Lily is now taking naps in her crib as well as sleeping in her crib at night.
  3. She is rolling all over the place these days and working hard to sit up. She can not sit up for long without a little assistance but I am sure that it will not be much longer before that skill is mastered.
  4. Lily is chatting up a storm at home these days. Tim seems to think that there were rumors of her taking over Oprah's show but as her agent I have seen no contracts. Really this girl is a lot like her father; quiet as a mouse whenever people are around but does not stop chatting when it is just the two of us.
  5. She loves riding in her stroller on our daily walks with Butter, nightly story time with Daddy, and oddly enough raspberries on her belly from her Daddy. In reality she loves anything her father does. It is sweet to watch even if it does make me a bit jealous.

Oh she is such a cutie! I can just imagine the 'quiet as a mouse until everyone leaves' bit.

Super fun! I know what you mean about the schedules and am wondering if those will hold true with a fourth child as we will have to adjust to the other boys' schedule. I am thinking the car seat is going to be our best friend. She is a darling girl! It sounds like you are loving every minute of it! How fun for you!
