It is always nice when your birthday falls on a holiday weekend! We didn't do anything especially exciting but I was nice that Tim had the day off from work and I could spend time with both of my favorite people. We did go and try out the new burger place down the street for lunch. It is not as excellent as Five Guys but still tasty and I do recommend their shakes. Maybe it tasted so good because I have no had a milkshake in so long! Sorry I did not think to take any pictures so there is no real photographic evidence of my birthday. I did enjoy a lovely day with my family, got lots of well wishes from family and friends, and even got a few gifts. This year's favorite gift is pictured above. That's right folks for my 33rd birthday I received my long requested ukulele! Perhaps one day I might even get the chance to play it. Tim seems to be just as excited about this gift as me and I have not really had a chance to play it yet. We might have to get him his own ukulele sometime soon. Who knows maybe Lily will want one too.
