In an effort to reconcile these two realities and improve my domestic skills, I have recently become a huge fan of Eating Well Magazine. I highly recommend checking this website out. Since discovering this little gem our meals have become more interesting, healthy, fresh/ seasonally appropriate, and TASTY. Things we have prepared and loved so far: black bean smothered sweet potatoes, Thai chicken pizza, cranberry upside-down cake, cod with tomato cream sauce, inside-out lasagna, almond honey butter cookies, chicken cordon bleu, and cheddar cauliflower soup.
